When comedian Kaustubh Agarwal sits down to eat, he doesn’t nibble, he feasts. The latest episode of Tere Gully Mein by Curly Tales proved exactly that. From piping-hot Amritsari naan to Nagpal’s legendary Chole Bhature, and a final sweet treat to seal the deal, Kaustubh Agarwal brought his entire Baniya energy (and a very real appetite) to the streets of Delhi.
Kaustubh Agarwal’s Hilarious Delhi Street Food Tour
Before the food even arrived, Kaustubh Agarwal warned, “Aaj toh bohot khaane wale hain.” And he wasn’t kidding. The first stop, Ambarsariya Naan, looked like a love letter to Punjab itself. Walls plastered with photos of Punjabi stars, the aroma of tandoor, and one big plate of golden-brown naan. Kaustubh took a bite and instantly declared, “Accha khana milte hi main chhoti bacchi ban jaata hoon.” It was a scene made epic with laughter, crumbs, and pure joy.
Between mouthfuls, he talked about his Baniya instincts, how he’s always calculating something, worrying about the future, and saving a little extra. “Meri phat ti rehti hai hamesha,” he laughed, before recalling the time he quit his corporate job to chase comedy full-time. Beneath the jokes, you could sense the anxiety he carried then, the fear of failing versus the thrill of doing what he loved.

This Or That Game, One Word For Comedians & More With Kaustubh Agarwal
Of course, things got personal (and hilarious) when he confessed that most of his fights with his girlfriend begin over food and end with food too. A self-proclaimed foodie couple! Somewhere between naan and nostalgia, Kaustubh also opened up about Omkar and Shreya’s proposal, saying it was one of the rare times people saw him teary-eyed. “That was Pookie Kaustubh,” we joked.
The next pitstop was Franky Rolls, where an egg-chicken roll became the perfect excuse to spill more stories. He mentioned a game he once played with his partner called “How Toxic Are We?” The result? A perfect 15/15. At Nagpal’s Chole Bhature, more fun came alive, where Kaustubh opened a glass of lassi, took one sip, and said with blissful conviction, “Ab aayegi neend.” Between laughs, he dropped a bombshell: his family has never seen any of his comedy videos. “Woh Kamra ka dekhte hain,” he says, referring to Kunal Kamra, and leaves us in splits.
Before signing off, the crew played ‘This or That’ with enticing options such as Rajma Chawal or Chole Bhature? Thandi Lassi or Garam Chai?, and then a One-Word Game where Kaustubh roasted fellow comedians like Ashish Solanki and Samay Raina with lightning-speed wit.
What came through wasn’t just comedy. It was warm. We met a guy who’s as hungry for food as he is for laughter, finding his rhythm as punchlines and bhaturas come together.
