Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi didn’t walk into Sunday Brunch with Kamiya Jani the way most guests do, they stormed into it (quite literally). The episode opened inside a rage room, and it was the kind of smashing start the show has never tried before.

How Did Mrunal Thakur & Siddhant Chaturvedi End Up In A Rage Room?

Kamiya made the rules clear right away: whoever breaks fewer things gets punished. And in between the flying glass and laughter, Kamiya asked a surprisingly honest question: ” What do you do when you’re angry?” Mrunal’s answer was simple and familiar; she just said that she would leave the room. Siddhant, being the more introspective one, said he writes.

Once the adrenaline settled, the trio headed to the 190 AMSL restaurant, where the mood shifted from rage to romance, because Kamiya Jani, our editor-in-chief, of course, had another question ready. Everyone’s seen their anger quotient, she teased, but what about their romantic quotient? On a scale of 1 to 10, Mrunal didn’t hesitate and said that she’s a full 10. Siddhant agreed, and then she turned to him and declared he’s “100 on 10,” which is exactly the kind of dramatic and filmy compliment that belongs in a brunch conversation.

And then came the food; it was not just a meal, but a spread that felt like a love letter to comfort and flavour. The table carried Kothambir wadi, Bhakri Tacos, Litti Chokha, Masala Bhaat, Solkadhi, a refreshing Sattu drink, and finally, Jalebi Rabri that practically demanded silence for the first bite.

Mrunal & Siddhant Get REAL About Industry Truths

Mrunal, clearly taken by the sabzi, renamed it instantly, not Solkadhi, but it was more like “S-O-U-L Kadhi,” because, as she put it, it soothes the soul. She even insisted they sip the drink properly so it leaves a little moustache on the mouth, turning a simple drink into a full comedy bit.

Somewhere between bites, the episode slid into a fun tech moment with a dictionary game played on the Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360. The device, built for gaming, creative tasks, and browsing, became the setting for them to invent hilarious food-themed words, adding another layer of goofy energy to an already unpredictable brunch.

But the most unexpected turn came when Kamiya Jani asked what had shocked them about the industry. Mrunal spoke about female friendships, firmly and almost pointedly, saying they do exist. She shared that she has a girl gang with Tamannaah, Pragya, Mouni, and others, and that meeting them feels genuinely refreshing. Siddhant’s confession went in the opposite direction, as he said it’s a myth that men are secure. In his experience, men are often more insecure than women, and he’s seen it up close.

The episode ended the way only Siddhant Chaturvedi could end it, with two sharp lines of rap as MC Sher, giving the final moments a street-style edge. With rage room chaos, soulful food, surprising honesty, and a rap outro, it was not your typical brunch, and that’s exactly why it felt special.
