Read on to know more!

Rajeev Khandelwal Gave Us A Home Tour

For our Sunday Brunch episode, we visited actor Rajeev Khandelwal’s home. Revealing the name of his home, he said, “Shah Rukh Khan has his own Mannat and Rajeev is dreaming of his Jannat.” His house was so cosy and homely. Giving us a home tour, he took us to a room full of books, where he had a gorgeous handprint framed, which was actually his own. Talking about that, he said that his fate is not written in his hand, head, or stars but in karma. The room also had the medals he had earned from running marathons.

Giving the home tour, he also mentioned that the roof of his home has a small kitchen garden. The fruits and vegetables in his home are often freshly plucked from this garden. As the interview continues, Rajeev revealed that he is from Sirohi in Rajasthan. He shared that as his father was an army officer, they used to move often but spent their holidays in Jaipur. He also stayed in Jaipur for a few years. The actor did his college in Ahmedabad.

As a host, he also revealed that he has always struggled with stage fear and still feels nervous while walking on stage. He shared that he is currently doing a show, Tum Ho Naa, where there is no script, so he has to keep going spontaneously.

What Did We Eat At His Home?

In between the interview, Rajeev treated us to some delicious home-cooked food. What made this interview special was that the actor himself made gol rotis for us. He revealed that his mother taught him how to cook well. He also cooked his viral organic Kaddu Dish. The duo started their lunch with refreshing jaljeera juice, which Kamiya Jani loved a lot. The menu included Moong Ki Dal, Spinach and Paneer Sabzi, and Keema. For this dish, they used spinach from their own kitchen garden and made paneer at home.

During our lunch, we decided to ask some quick questions to the actor, which he answered honestly. He also revealed that he once had a crush on a fan. The actor also talked about how his wife, Manjiri, didn’t know who he was. He was surprised to learn that Manjiri didn’t recognise him and decided that he would now show his “jalwa” to her.
