We Met Harsh Gujral’s Physics Teacher At His School In Kanpur, And She Had THIS To Say

In a fun-filled episode filled with Kanpuriya charm, we had none other than stand-up comic Harsh Gujral taking us around the gullies of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Just like other Tere Gully Mein episodes, we had to explore the city’s rich culinary scene with the comedy star. But what made this episode special was Harsh Gujral introducing us to his beloved teachers at his school, St. Stephen Senior Secondary School.

Harsh Gujral Meets His Physics Teacher In Kanpur

This Tere Gully Mein episode began with stand-up comic Harsh Gujral revisiting his school, St. Stephen Senior Secondary School in Kanpur. He recalled being scolded by his P.T. teacher for wearing tight pants and spending sweet moments with his first girlfriend. The comedy star led us to a classroom and introduced us to his physics teacher.

“A few years back, a student of mine asked if I knew Harsh Gujral. I said yes and told my student, that Harsh Gujral studied in my first batch. My student then told me Harsh had become a stand-up comedian. I said, ‘That’s exactly what he used to do then.’” Her witty remark and candid observation left Harsh Gujral laughing out loud.

His Teacher Spoke Fondly About Him

His physics teacher said, “It’s a proud feeling. Also, anybody can be anything. You can develop any skill and make a name for yourself. It’s an inspiration. I have been telling my students as well that everyone doesn’t need to go ahead in the field of science.” The teacher stressed the importance of honing one’s skills. Laughingly, Harsh remembered that he was once on the verge of being thrown out of school due to low grades. And today his anecdotes are being narrated by teachers to inspire young students to follow their dreams and hone their skills.

Later, we stopped by at Pahalwan Ji Mattha for Kanpur’s famous mattha, a snack of fresh white butter lathered between two slices of freshly baked sweet bread. The Mango Mattha was our favourite as we could taste authentic fruity mango flavours in every bite.
