Imagine sitting for brunch in Delhi and suddenly feeling like you’re somewhere in Europe, maybe a sunny cafe in Italy, a chic corner in Paris, or even a calm, stylish bistro in Amsterdam. That’s exactly how I felt when I visited Riches’, the newest restaurant in Delhi that everyone has been buzzing about.
My Unforgettable Experience At Riches’ In Delhi
When I first entered, I was struck by how exquisite the area is. It’s luxurious, yes, but in a very soft, comforting way. Nothing feels loud or showy. Instead, everything feels warm, spacious, and thoughtfully put together. There’s natural light everywhere, gentle colours, soft textures, and little touches that make you feel instantly relaxed.
The team is what elevates it even further. They greet you with the kind of warmth that makes you feel like they’re genuinely happy you chose to be there. Not the forced hospitality you sometimes get, but a very real, very heartfelt welcome. And honestly, this changed everything. I’ve always believed that no matter how beautiful a place is or how great the food tastes, it’s the people who make an experience unforgettable. And at Riches’ in Delhi, the people truly shine.
A European Brunch I’m Still Thinking About

Now let’s talk about the food, because I ate a lot. More than I planned, more than I should have, and more than any reasonable person would try at a single brunch. But that’s the thing: when the food is excellent and the service team is so enthusiastic about every dish, you can’t help but want to try everything.
Usually, when you try a long list of dishes at a brand-new restaurant, you expect at least one to disappoint you. It could be too salty, too bland, too experimental, or simply not to your taste. But at Riches’ in Delhi? Not even one.
Here’s everything I tried, and why I loved all of it.
Starters That Impress
- Avocado Taquito: These are small tortilla cones, crisp and light, filled with jalapeño-spiced guacamole and dusted with cheddar powder. The crunch, the spice, the creamy avocado – it was the perfect start to my meal.
- Umami Éclair: I tried both savoury options, Confit Portobello Mushroom and Smoked Duck. Both were incredible. The choux pastry was light, soft, and slightly crisp, and the fillings were rich, flavourful, and perfectly balanced.
- Broccoli Arancini: Crispy croquettes made with broccoli and Carnaroli rice, served with pistachio pistou and thyme. These were comforting, warm, and bursting with flavour.
- Cracked Pepper Prawns: I have to say, these were the star of the starters. Coal-grilled prawns in adobo butter, topped with coriander marmalade. Delicious, perfectly seasoned, juicy, and smoky, each prawn was a little (or big) bite of heaven.

Mains That Wow
- Chicken Schnitzel à la Vodka: Crispy, golden schnitzel accompanied by garlic potato mash and a crisp salad. The mash was creamy and comforting, and the schnitzel was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, a perfect blend of flavours and textures.
- Lamb Chop with Butternut Squash Purée & Labneh: Perfectly grilled, succulent, tender, these lamb chops went nicely with the rich, buttery, and perfectly fluffy Hasselback Potato with Sour Cream.
- Biang Biang Morel Rice: Japanese rice, morel mushrooms, biang biang sauce, and torched hollandaise make up this filling and healthful dish. It was filling, rich, and cosy, like a bowl of warm hugs.
Dessert That Feels Like A Hug
- Tiramisu: This dessert was light, airy, and rich, making it the perfect way to end the meal at Riches’ in Delhi. It was perfectly balanced, creamy, and delightful.
Cocktails That Tell Stories

- Collateral Damage: A layered drink with cold brew, dark rum, bourbon, coffee liqueur, and Demerara. Smooth and bold, yet unexpectedly easy on the palate, it’s a drink that wakes up your senses.
- Trust Fund Baby: Bright, floral, and fresh, this one was the perfect creation of limoncello, Lillet, prosecco, elderflower, and mint. It’s a sparkling, refreshing drink that’s perfect to start a sunny day.
- Succession: This drink boasts Bird’s eye tequila with charred bell pepper, pineapple, ginger, pepper tea, and honey. Smoky, refined, and full of character, this cocktail feels refined without being overpowering.
- Leverage: Made with maple fat-washed rum, banana water, vermouth, and bitters, this drink is spiced and rich, yet incredibly smooth.
- Bounced Cheque: Reposado tequila with hazelnut and olive brine, served with a dark chocolate cranberry bonbon lipstick. Bold, grown-up, and a little mischievous, it’s the perfect end to a flavourful journey.
Riches’ is one of those rare places that make you feel full in every sense – full of good food, full of warmth, and full of joy. I walked out stuffed, happy, and already thinking about when I could go back. Riches’ is definitely worth a visit if you’re searching for a new spot in Delhi that combines European flavours, cosy hospitality, and a setting you won’t want to leave.
