A video going viral online shows how a man received free doctor assistance after ordering medicine through Blinkit.
Online User Appreciates Blinkit’s Free Doctor Assistance
Instagram user Dr. Arvind Arora (@arvind.aroraj) took to social media to appreciate Blinkit for assisting his cousin during a late-night health scare. In the video, Arvind revealed that his cousin started experiencing irritation and pain in his chest around 11:30 PM. However, he refused to visit a doctor, saying that the discomfort was not serious. Arvind then recalled Sorbitrate, a medicine used in certain heart-related emergencies.
He also ordered Disprin and Eno through Blinkit. While Disprin and Eno can be ordered normally, Sorbitrate requires medical advice. So, Blinkit went a step ahead and arranged a personal doctor consultation. Arora said that a doctor, Dr Padam Gyan Prakash Singh, spoke directly to his cousin and asked about his symptoms and the reason for ordering the medicine.

What Did The Doctor Advise His Cousin?
Dr Padam Gyan Prakash Singh advised Arvind’s cousin to visit the nearest hospital immediately if he experienced a burning sensation in his stomach. However, the cousin said that he was not experiencing any such sensation. The doctor then advised him to sleep after taking the medicine. Arvind appreciated the doctor’s timely guidance and Blinkit’s assistance for helping his cousin during the situation.
In the video, Arvind also said that a usual doctor’s consultation could cost around ₹500-1,000, while Blinkit provided the consultation for free. He appreciated Blinkit’s services and the doctor’s guidance, saying that such assistance can be helpful during critical situations.
