CT Review: I Spent An Evening In Paris Without Leaving Noida At Mamma Rose, Where Cats Meet Coffee

In a city where new cafés and restaurants open almost every week, it’s rare to walk into a place and immediately feel like you’ve stepped out of Delhi NCR. Mamma Rose does exactly that. Tucked away in Sector 104, Noida, this newly launched café feels like a soft, dreamy escape to Europe.

At first glance, Mamma Rose feels special. The space is washed in soft pastels, warm light, and Parisian-style windows that let the sunshine pour in just right. There’s something incredibly calming about the way the café is designed—it’s pretty but not loud.

And then there are the cats. Little playful cat elements are scattered across the café, from charming illustrations to framed pictures of cats lounging across European streets. These aren’t random décor pieces, they give the place its personality. It’s whimsical, slightly sassy, and full of main-character energy.

Mamma Rose is founded by Mr Ridhav Arora, an avid traveller whose time in Paris inspired this space. His vision was to recreate the feeling of European street-side cafés where people linger over coffee, conversations flow easily, and time feels slower. That philosophy shows up everywhere, from the ambience to the menu.

Even the coffee here is treated with care. The beans are freshly roasted every four days, ensuring every cup is aromatic, smooth, and full of character. Pair that with an all-day breakfast and comfort-led menu, and you’ve got a place that feels perfect for slow mornings, long brunches, and unplanned second cups of coffee.

What I Tried At Mamma Rose

The Hearty Bites

Now let’s talk about the food, because this is where Mamma Rose truly wins you over.

I began with the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and it was comfort food done just right. The chicken was golden and crunchy on the outside, juicy inside, layered with marinara, a soft cheese slice, creamy mayo, and fresh rocket leaves. Nothing felt overpowering.

Next up was the Chicken Taco, which felt playful and indulgent. Crispy fried chicken paired with grated cheese and fresh pico de gallo made every bite juicy, crunchy, and slightly tangy. It’s easy-going food that doesn’t feel heavy.

Then came the much-loved Gigi Hadid Pasta, and honestly, it lived up to all the hype. Creamy yet light, this pasta is made with fresh cream, basil, and San Marzano tomatoes, with just the right amount of heat from the hot tomato sauce. It’s rich without being overwhelming and comforting without being boring.

One of the most surprising dishes was the Cheese Ramen. Warm noodles swimming in a cheesy broth, loaded with shredded vegetables and finished with parmesan. It’s cosy, filling, and deeply comforting.

The Za’atar Cheese Fondue was easily one of the highlights. Melted cheese infused with earthy za’atar, served alongside breadsticks, baby potatoes, and toasted pita bread. This is food meant to be shared. You dip, you pause, you talk, and you dip again. It’s perfect for slow meals with friends.

Coffee, Drinks & Dessert

Dessert had to be the Tiramisu, and it was everything you’d want it to be. Soft layers infused with coffee, dusted with cocoa, and finished with a gentle hint of Baileys. It’s rich, indulgent, and best enjoyed slowly, spoon by spoon.

The smooth and comforting Caffè Latte was a stunning display of the café’s freshly roasted coffee. The Lychee & Mint Brew was surprisingly cool. It’s light, fragrant, and perfect for a daytime pick-me-up. The Sunrise Cold Brew tasted like a glass of summer. A smooth cold brew is combined with layers of pineapple, peach, and passion fruit syrup to create a sweet, slightly tart, and wonderfully refreshing drink.

Mamma Rose is more than just gorgeous interiors and modern cuisine. It’s a place for quiet get-togethers, comfortable coffee dates, and aesthetically pleasing moments that invite you to settle in, relax, and enjoy every bite.
