Annual Flower Show Event In Ahmedabad
The Ahmedabad International Flower Show is one of the city’s most loved annual events and a must-visit for locals and tourists alike. Organised by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation since 2013, the flower show grows bigger and better each year. It attracts thousands of visitors who come to enjoy colourful gardens, creative floral displays, and a calm atmosphere by the river.
This year, the flower show kicked off on January 1 and will run till January 22, 2026. With the theme “Bharat – Ek Katha,” the venue tells India’s story through stunning floral art. Visitors are greeted by grand lion sculptures and lotus fountains, followed by displays inspired by festivals, mythology, classical dances, and national achievements. A lively kids’ zone adds fun learning moments, making it perfect for families.

More About This Annual Show
The flower show is divided into five themed zones. Each zone showcases a different side of India, from festivals and spirituality to art, dance, and modern development. One of the major attractions is the Guinness World Records zone, which features a massive floral mandala and a large floral portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Located close to popular city attractions like Atal Bridge, Sabarmati Ashram, and the Kite Festival venue, the flower show fits perfectly into an Ahmedabad travel plan. If you are in Ahmedabad this January, the Flower Show 2026 is something you should not miss.
Visitors can explore the venue daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, while VIP visiting slots are available from 7:00 am to 9:00 am and again from 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Ticket prices are ₹80 for adults on weekdays and ₹100 on weekends and public holidays. Entry is free for children below 12 years, students from AMC-run schools, divyang persons, and senior citizens. Children from private schools can enter for ₹10 on weekdays between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. VIP entry tickets are priced at ₹500.
