Enrique Iglesias, the global pop heartthrob, has landed in India for his concert at the MMRDA Grounds, BKC, Mumbai, on October 29 and 30. If you are attending the concert today or tomorrow, make sure you keep these things in mind. From parking to the list of prohibited items at the venue, here’s everything you need to know!

Grammy Award-winning singer Enrique Iglesias is back in India after 13 years for his much-awaited Mumbai concert. Fans are not just thrilled but super excited, so expect long queues and bottlenecks near the venue. Known for hits like Addicted, Hero, Escape, and more, the pop sensation landed at Kalina Airport yesterday. He will perform at MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex, on October 29 and 30.

According to The Indian Express, since it’s a large-scale event, the organisers have deployed over 500 security and safety personnel at the venue. More than 200 traffic officials will also manage vehicle movement. There are 40+ entry lanes with separate points for General, VIP, and Lounge ticket holders. Gates open at 3 pm, and people are encouraged to arrive early. The concert will run for four hours. Along with Enrique Iglesias, Jonita Gandhi, and Progressive Brothers (PRO BROS) will also perform at the show.

Guidelines, Parking & Prohibited Items

Here are some basic entry rules you should keep in mind before arriving to the show:

  • The event is open to people aged 5 and above.
  •  Everyone attending must wear their District Smart Band and carry a valid government-issued photo ID. 
  • Re-entry is not allowed once you enter.
  • Prohibited items include: bottles, outside food, alcohol, audio recorders, laptops, cameras, cans, laser pointers, flashlights, lighters and matchboxes, helmets, and flammable materials.

How To Reach The Venue

There’s no parking available inside the venue. Attendees are advised to use public transport or cabs. The nearest metro station is BKC (Aqua Line), and the service has been extended till midnight for the event. If you are coming by car, the nearest paid parking options include MMRDA Open Car Park, Jio World Garden Underground Parking, Trident Pay and Park, and Public Car Park near the US Consulate.

Food & Drinks At The Concert

According to The Indian Express, the event will feature a curated food and beverage lineup with over 30 popular Mumbai food brands. Expect Benne dosas, sliders, sushi, kebabs, shawarmas, boba tea, cocktails, beer, and premium alco-bev options.
