Bungeo Opens Its Door In Bengaluru
Located in Indiranagar, Bungeo is more than just a cafe; it’s an experience altogether. Whether you’re a dessert lover, an anime fan, or someone curious about Japanese cuisine, this spot has it all for you.

Known as the city’s first Taiyaki bar, the cafe serves some of the best Taiyakis. Despite its fish-like appearance, Taiyaki contains no seafood, and that’s what makes it special. The iconic dessert was invented in Tokyo in the early 1900s and is traditionally made using a pancake-like batter cooked in a fish mould. It is most usually filled with anko, a sweet red bean sauce made from azuki beans. At Bungeo, guests can try classic flavours such as Red Bean, Custard, and Nutella. The freshly baked waffles are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making them an ideal pick for a short dessert break.
What All To Expect At Bungeo Creamery?
If you think that Bungeo in Bengaluru is just a Taiyaki destination, then you are wrong. The cafe also serves as a Japanese and Korean comfort food spot in the city.
Its menu includes ramen, rice bowls, omurice, starters and Japanese-inspired beverages. Matcha lovers can get their fill in desserts and drinks featuring the earthy green tea flavour, while those looking for something refreshing can opt for Thai boba teas and jasmine tea.

With places like Bungeo, Bengaluru is making international food traditions more accessible. So Bengaluru people, would you like to visit this place?
