Bungalow To Karma: Ranveer Singh & Deepika Padukone Dine At These 4 Restaurants In USA

You don’t land in USA and casually end up at Annapurna Bhavan, Bungalow, Karma Cafe, and Musaafer unless you’re eating with a serious foodie mindset. This is not a checklist of “fancy Indian restaurants abroad.” It’s a spread that moves between routine food, chef-driven food, yummy fast food, and occasion food, the way people who actually travel and eat well tend to do it, and that’s exactly what Deepveer did. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s restaurant trail reads like that of diners who know when they want comfort, when they want craft, and when they want *too much*.

USA Restaurants Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone LOVE!

1. Annapurna Bhavan

Annapurna Bhavan isn’t trying to introduce Indian cuisine to anyone, it assumes you already know what you’re ordering. The Mysore Masala Dosa arrives thin and buttery, brushed with red chilli chutney that actually bites back. Idlis are sponge-soft, the sambar stays tangy instead of sweet, and the South Indian thali is built for hunger, we’re talking BIG hunger!  It is a Deepveer favourite, which means you can trust it with a blind eye (and a hungry tummy!)

Ps: Regulars online often mention that even late at night, the dosa batter and chutneys don’t turn soggy or miss the point, which feels like a rare Midtown achievement.

Where: 615 9th Avenue, New York
When: 08:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Cost: ~₹5,500 for two

2. Bungalow

Bungalow feels like Chef Vikas Khanna cooking for people who already respect Indian food. The menu focuses on regional memory rather than reinvention, including Rajasthani-style lamb, delicately spiced vegetable dishes, carefully balanced sauces, and desserts that are so decadent, its almost shocking! The most talked-about moment from Ranveer and Deepika’s visit were pomegranate and cardamom modaks, made and served personally by the chef.

Where: 24 First Avenue, New York
When: 05:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Cost: ~₹11,000 for two

3. Karma Cafe

Karma Cafe answers a very specific craving: Indian spice without Indian ceremony. The menu’s strength lies in its marinades; Kerala-spiced fried chicken, Achari chicken sandwiches, Malai-marinated pieces, flavours that register clearly if you grew up eating Indian food. The chicken is crisp and spicy. The space is fast-casual and unapologetically loud, built for people who want to eat and leave with a precious and difficult-to-forget culinary memory.

Where: 214 1st Avenue, New York
When: 12:00 PM – 09:00 PM
Cost: ~₹4,500 for two

4. Musaafer

Musaafer doesn’t ease you in, it declares itself. The interiors are monumental with soaring ceilings, marble textures, lighting designed to feel ceremonial. The menu follows suit. Think butter chicken served two ways, inventive starters built around fruit and acid, premium proteins, and cocktails that borrow heavily from Indian botanicals. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone ordered the Indian classic Dal Makhani there, and that uniquely made sense in the streets of New York. This is food meant to be discussed as much as eaten. Some diners love the ambition; others debate the pricing. That tension is part of Musaafer’s identity.

Where: 133 Duane Street, New York, NY
When: 05:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Cost: ~₹22,000 for two

Put together, these four stops don’t just serve food, they serve it with a side of iconicity along. Annapurna Bhavan feeds routine cravings, Bungalow rewards Indian flavours, Karma Cafe satisfies impulse while Musaafer stages occasion. That range says more about Ranveer and Deepika as diners than any single reservation ever could, and it quietly mirrors how Indian food now exists in USA: settled, confident, and no longer trying to be like someone else.
