As a foodie, I’m not someone who likes visiting the same place repeatedly. I enjoy exploring new food spots and trying different dishes from their menu. This time, my search for a new place led me to Bari Bari, a restaurant in Ahmedabad that has quickly become a favourite among Gen Z and millennials since opening just a few months ago. Trust me when I say this place is becoming a go-to spot for all the right reasons. Check out the dishes I tried here!
An Instagram-Worthy Space For Food Lovers
The moment you step into Bari Bari, you’ll be hit with total aesthetic vibes. The calm and soothing interiors instantly grab your attention. What makes the space stand out are the unique curvy walls that give it a cave-like feel. Plants placed in different corners and at the centre add a fresh touch to the ambience.
The space isn’t too flashy. Instead, it embraces a minimal design with soft colours. Whether you’re visiting with friends or planning a date, there’s a perfect spot for everyone. In fact, this Ahmedabad restaurant is a treat for couples, thanks to its cosy corner seating arranged in opposite directions, offering privacy while enjoying delicious food together.

What I Ordered At Bari Bari In Ahmedabad
1. Hot & Sour
For the soup, I ordered the Hot & Sour. Unlike the usual versions I’ve had at other places, this one wasn’t sweet at all. Instead, it delivered a perfect burst of tangy and spicy flavours that instantly woke up my taste buds. If you like starting your meal with something bold and flavourful, this soup is definitely worth trying.
2. Broccoli Almond Cappuccino
Next, we ordered the Broccoli Almond Cappuccino. The restaurant definitely didn’t hold back when it came to the amount of broccoli in the soup. It had a slightly sweet and savoury flavour, along with the rich taste of broccoli that would instantly make you want another bowl. Honestly, we were tempted to order it again, but we also wanted to save room to try more dishes from the menu.
3. Ravioli
Then, we decided to order a pasta dish and went with the Ravioli in pink sauce. The ravioli was stuffed with a generous amount of spinach, while the sauce was perfectly creamy and cheesy. We literally cleaned the bowl with the bread, and trust me when I say I’m definitely going back for this dish.
4. Exotic Farm Pizza
This restaurant has its own unique way of serving pizza, moving beyond the usual circular shape. Here, we ordered the Exotic Farm Pizza, topped with bell peppers, jalapeños, baby corn, and broccoli. The pizza was served in a boat-shaped style and cut into four pieces. I added some extra oregano and chilli flakes before digging in. The flavours were mild, but the variety of toppings made every bite delicious.
5. Bruschetta
Then, we ordered the Bruschetta. The toasted bread was topped with tomatoes and olives. On the first bite, it didn’t quite suit my taste. It felt a bit bland, so we asked the restaurant if they could make a small change. They added a touch of cheesy sauce, which improved the flavour. After that, we were much happier with the dish. However, if you prefer mild flavours, this is definitely something you can try.
6. Mexican Platter
The last dish we ordered was the Mexican Platter. The platter looked wholesome, with some nachos and a generous serving of rice. The rice was topped with Mexican seasoning, which gave our lunch a perfect ending. It was mildly spicy, and when we mixed the rice with the generous amount of seasoning, the flavours turned out tangy, spicy, and just perfect.
I would definitely recommend you visit this place!
