There’s a noticeable shift in how Delhi is opening restaurants right now. It’s not louder, not bigger, but it’s definitely more refined and rich. You walk in, and you immediately understand what the space wants to be, whether that’s a quiet listening bar, a hyper-experimental cocktail room, or something as unexpected as a sci-fi burger lab. Here are 10 newly opened restaurants in Delhi that deserve your attention right now.

10 New Restaurants In Delhi That Are Changing The Dining Scene

1. Wakame

Wakame doesn’t try to simplify Asian cuisine; it leans into its range. Named after the Japanese seaweed, the idea of depth shows up across the menu, which moves easily between robata grills, raw plates, and slow-cooked dishes. You’ll see hamachi ceviche next to stir-fry mock meat, then something like karaage or tempura, and it all still feels cohesive. Nisha Singh’s influence shows in how the menu doesn’t stick to one lane; it pulls from across East Asia without making it confusing. The desserts, especially the Coconut Sunset Delight, don’t feel like an afterthought either.

Where: D-26, 3rd Floor, Defence Colony, New Delhi
When: 12 PM – 1 AM
Cost: ₹3,300 for two

2. Rumour

Rumour has a hidden charm, which is purely intentional. You enter, and it slowly opens up into this New York-style loft setting with low lighting and layered textures – nothing overly dramatic, but everything intentional. It’s designed by Sussanne Khan, and you can tell the focus was on how long people would stay, not how quickly they’d leave. The food follows the same thinking as small plates that don’t overpower the table. There are Korean chicken tacos, mushroom arancini, and even something like hot honey brie crisps; they’re built to keep the evening moving without interrupting it. The wine list does a lot of the heavy lifting here.

Where: Priya Market, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi
When: 5 PM – 1 AM
Cost: ₹3,500  for two

3. Together

Together isn’t trying to compete with Delhi’s louder bars, and that’s exactly why it works. It’s built around Tokyo’s listening bar culture, so the music isn’t background noise; it’s part of the experience. Vinyl lines the walls, the lighting stays low, and conversations naturally soften. Designed by Manav Dangg, the space feels warm and not heavy. The menu leans Asian but keeps things approachable with tempura, gyoza, and karaage. Drinks like the Rosé Martini, Sober Colada or Rum Whisper fit the mood rather than trying to steal attention.

Where: D-12, 3rd Floor, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi
When: 5 PM – 1 AM
Cost: ₹2,500 for two

4. Second Born

Second Born slows things down, and that’s its entire point. The idea of “sibling ingredients” sounds abstract until you taste it; coffee with cascara, cacao with chocolate; it’s about pairing something with its natural extension instead of forcing contrast. Sangram Singh Samra and Anushka Chaturvedi have built a space that has its own unique kind of magic. The rooftop setting helps; it’s open, easy, and doesn’t push you out. You stay longer than you planned to, which is exactly how it’s designed.

Where: M Block Market, GK-II, New Delhi
When: 5 PM – 1 AM
Cost: ₹2,500 for two

5. Cavity

The cavity is tiny, with just nine seats, and that changes everything. There’s no anonymity here. Every drink, every dish is intentional, and you’re aware of it. Jeet Rana and Chirag Pal, along with chef Amninder Sandhu, have built something that feels closer to a private tasting than a bar. The use of GI-tagged ingredients like Sundarban honey, Guntur chilli, and Coorg coffee isn’t just a detail; it’s the backbone of the menu.

Where: Ground Floor, M Block Market, M-51, GK-II, New Delhi
When: 7 PM – 12 AM
Cost: ₹7,000 for two

6. The Agave Room

The Agave Room builds its identity around agave, but it doesn’t stop there. The entire menu is structured around elemental ideas of earth, fire, air, and water, and you see that translated into drinks that feel layered rather than flashy. Cocktails like “Once Upon a Time in Oaxaca” or “Solomon’s Seal” carry that theme without overexplaining it. The food keeps things grounded, with tofu, lamb chops, corn varieties, and familiar plates that support the drinks instead of competing with them.

Where: D-46, 1st Floor, Basant Lok Market, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi
When: 1 PM – 1 AM
Cost: ₹3,000 for two

7. AlienKind

AlienKind is loud, but deliberately so. The design leans into futuristic brutalism, neon lighting, and a kind of sci-fi absurdity that feels very intentional. But underneath that, the menu is surprisingly clear in its thinking. You’ve got indulgent burgers sitting next to superfood-based drinks, which shouldn’t work together, but here, they do. The three-layered cloudy drinks are built to be seen before they’re tasted, and the Starship Burger feels engineered as much as cooked.

Where: Block M, M-60, Radial Road, 6, Inner Cir, Connaught Place, New Delhi
When: 12 PM – 12 AM
Cost: ₹1,000 for two

8. Louve

Louve doesn’t try to impress you immediately. It’s modern and more Italian-core than most places in Khan Market, which is exactly its strength. The space is minimal but not cold, and the focus is clearly on the food. Modern Italian dishes come out with precision; nothing feels rushed or overworked. The high tea is strong enough to shape the meal, not just accompany it. Burrata & Truffle, Sage Butter Tortelloni and Creamy Burrata make the place feel oh-so-luxe.

Where: 1, Humayun Rd, Sujan Sing Park North, Sujan Singh Park, New Delhi
When: 12 PM – 12 AM
Cost: ₹6,500-₹7,000 for two

9. Nubo

Nubo feels like it understands how people actually use cafés now. It’s not trying to be just a dining space, it’s built for staying. And did we mention it has the pookiest interiors known to mankind? Yes, with its beautiful shades of pink and white and a vibrant and lifted interior, it is perfect for afternoon escapes. The interiors are clean, modern, and open enough to work for both solo visits and group plans. The menu leans into comfort with creative smoothies, OTT matchas and Mexican, Indian and Peri Peri dishes.

Where: A 15A, 1, Block X, Hauz Khas, New Delhi
When: 10 AM – 10 PM
Cost: ₹1,500–₹2,000 for two

10. Noya

Noya is a newly opened delight for the people of Delhi. Sitting in GK 1, this one is shaping up to be the hottest and spiciest (pun intended) Asian haven in Delhi. Its ambience is low-key, which makes it ideal for dates. It has a gorgeous yellowish lighting and candlelight dinner aesthetics. Their menu shows Soft Bao Rich Belgian Pork, Golden Fried Prawns, and a wide variety of dimsums!

Where: N Block, Market, N-2, Greater Kailash I, New Delhi
When: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM & 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Cost: ₹3,500 for two people (approx.)

What stands out across all these places isn’t just the food; it’s the clarity. None of them is trying to be everything; they’re specific, sometimes even niche, and that’s what makes most of their magic. You walk into each one and immediately understand what they want to be!

And maybe that’s where Delhi is right now, not expanding endlessly, but refining.
