Chef Saransh Goila Shares His 3-Day Varanasi Itinerary

Day 1: Temple Visits & Exploring Kashi!

On the first day in Varanasi, Saransh Goila (@saranshgoila) went to Old Banaras and enjoyed the local flavours. For breakfast, he visited Shri Madhur Jalpan, where he enjoyed crispy Jalebi and Bedmi Aloo, and honestly, just hearing that combo already makes you hungry. Then, he moved towards Neelu Kachori Bhandar for Hing Kachori. It’s the speciality that many people never miss out on trying, and once you know why, there’s no going back.

After eating, he visited the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Here, you need to book a darshan online and leave your phone outside. Later, he stopped at Deena Chaat Bhandar for Papdi Chaat and Tamatar Chaat. As evening set in, he attended the iconic Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Lastly, he enjoyed some more chaat at Vishwanath Chaat Bhandar, including Aloo Tikki and Tamatar Chaat.

On the last day, Saransh Goila enjoyed a peaceful sunrise walk along the ghats. Then he stopped at Lakshmi Chai Wala for Chai and Coal Butter Toast.
