Dishoom Turns 15 And Is Offering Free Dishes
Dishoom first opened in Covent Garden, London, in 2010, and this year it turned 15. To celebrate this milestone, from September 15 to 29, the restaurant chain is offering a special giveaway. This offer isa available at all 15 branches and Permit Room Locations. The surprise is that Dishoom will give away 15 free dishes over 15 days, with one iconic dish chosen each day.
The restaurant is known for its specialities like black daal, bacon naan rolls, and cups of chai. They began the celebration by offering the House Black Daal for free, and for the next two weeks, different dishes will be given away, completely free of charge. The full list will not be revealed; instead, each day one dish will be announced.
How To Take Part?
Taking part in this anniversary celebration is very simple. Every day, the restaurant will announce the free dish on its Instagram Stories. When you visit for dine-in, just show the story to your server and you’ll receive the complimentary dish. This special giveaway is only available for dine-in, and each table can claim one complimentary plate per day. Apart from the free dish, other items will be charged at their standard price. Guests will not be able to exchange the free dish for cash or any other discount.
According to Secret London, Dishoom has earned an impressive reputation with its customers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant kept people fed with its DIY Breakfast Naan kits and continued serving NHS workers from its kitchens. Staying true to its values, Dishoom has also donated millions of meals to children. Over the years, they have expanded with Permit Room bars and cafés and even opened guesthouses.
