Bengaluru Airport To Host Food Fest With Farha Naaz
Running from July 28 to August 10, 2026, the celebration has been curated in collaboration with MasterChef India finalist Chef Farha Naaz, giving travellers an authentic taste of Northeast India before they take off from Terminal 1 of Bengaluru Airport. The festival kicked off with a live culinary masterclass by Chef Farha Naaz on July 28, then was followed by a curated media lunch featuring regional dishes inspired by the Northeast. Until August 10, visitors at the lounge can enjoy a specially curated buffet, along with an extensive à la carte menu and exclusive offerings in the VIP Luxe Zone.
At the centre of the festival is the collaboration between Chef Farha Naaz, founder of Mamazaki and a culinary expert in Northeast Indian cuisine, and Chef Dominic Gerard, Executive Chef at Travel Food Services. Together, they have put together a menu rooted in classic regional recipes, regional ingredients and traditional cooking techniques while transforming the dishes for an elevated airport dining experience.

Festival To Introduce Travellers To India’s Rich Cuisine
Speaking about the initiative, TFS Chief Operating Officer Gaurav Dewan stated that the festival aligns with the company’s vision of introducing travellers to India’s rich regional cuisines through expertly curated dining experiences. Chef Farha Naaz explained that Northeast Indian cuisine remains under-represented even though being one of the country’s most diverse culinary traditions and stated that she was thrilled to see it being showcased with authenticity and respect.
Chef Dominic Gerard also explained how every dish has been thoughtfully crafted to preserve the region’s unique flavours while delivering a memorable experience for travellers.

Through The North East Table, TFS aims to bring the rich food traditions of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura to a larger audience, transforming a meal at the airport into a journey through one of India’s most vibrant culinary landscapes.
