A man travelling to Bengaluru Airport to catch his flight to Kolkata recently questioned the city’s planning. He claimed that his journey from HSR Layout to the city’s airport took him longer than his flight to Kolkata. His post on Instagram has now sparked a debate on social media regarding connectivity. Here’s what happened.

Man Compares Bengaluru Airport Commute To His Kolkata Flight

Manish Kumar Singh was on his way to Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport from HSR Layout when he shared with his followers through a video that it would take him around 2.5-3 hours to reach the airport. Manish compared the travel time to his Kolkata flight, which would take just 2 hours and 20 minutes. He said this is how so much productive time gets wasted in Bengaluru.

He then questioned the city’s planning and compared it with other cities like New York, Paris, and Chicago. Manish said that these foreign destinations also have airports outside the city, but the connectivity is so strong that it takes just 30-40 minutes to reach the airport. He further called this situation a “Daily struggle” for many travellers.
