Rajasthani flavours get pride of place, with dishes such as Laal Maas, alongside broader Indian and international fare. Romeo Lane has taken the Jaipur dining scene upwards, quite literally, with its 12th-floor space at World Business Center. The menu moves through North Indian, Asian, Chinese, Continental and Italian territory, with playful plates such as RL Puchka Cart, Falafel Mezze, Mushroom & Basil Bao, Firecracker Cottage Cheese and Mexican Bean Tacos. Bar Stormy comes from Yangdup Lama and Minakshi Singh, the duo behind Sidecar and Cocktails & Dreams, so expectations were always going to be slightly unreasonable. Inspired by the cocktail Dark ’n’ Stormy, the 75-seater serves cocktails with plenty of personality alongside food such as Imli & Tuna Crudo, Squid 65, Mushroom Galouti and a bone-marrow nihari feast. The Southern Storm is one of the drinks worth seeking out, but honestly, the menu may have you spending more time deciding what to eat than what to drink.

Macaw By Stories brings the jungle-party aesthetic to Jubilee Hills, with a sprawling space designed for dining, drinks and nightlife. The Second House has moved into a 108-year-old Indo-Portuguese bungalow in Saligao, but this is not a nostalgia-only affair. Chef Jyoti’s global menu travels through dishes such as Bibimbap, Balchao Prawns, Lamb Shoulder, Pork Ribs, Chicken Tacos and Alfredo Spaghetti, while the house mixes dining with immersive art and AI-powered projections. There are also fresh bakes and coffee for calmer mornings.
