Airports usually mean one thing for me: chaos. Immigration lines that test your patience, coffees that disappear in two gulps, and meals so rushed they barely qualify as meals. But this time, when I found myself heading towards Mumbai Airport, the mood was entirely different. No stress, no “did I forget my passport?” panic. Instead, I was en route to a new dining destination promising aromas of grills, the soft clink of glasses, and a culinary journey that felt nothing like a pit stop. That’s how I ended up at Together & Co Mumbai, the 24/7 restaurant tucked inside Hilton Garden Inn, Mumbai International Airport.
Together & Co Mumbai At Hilton Garden Inn Took Our Palate On A Surprise Ride
If you’re scouting for a dining spot near Mumbai Airport T2, Together & Co Mumbai is a name to bookmark. I was invited to sample their specially curated tasting menu. Some dishes were off the record (meaning not on the daily menu), but the evening was enough to understand what this place stands for: creativity, comfort, and a surprising amount of fun.
The restaurant itself positions itself as a modern yet minimal all-day dining space, serving everyone from tired travellers to curious locals. What makes it stand out is the vibe; it’s not your typical “hotel restaurant” where you eat because you’re too tired to go elsewhere. It has energy, a pulse, and yes, food that manages to surprise.
Just a stone’s throw from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Hilton Garden Inn Mumbai International Airport has become more than just a convenient hotel. With 140 fresh and modern rooms, ergonomic conference spaces, a fitness centre, flexible meeting areas, and even a 24/7 grab-and-go counter (& ToGo), the property feels like it has thought of everyone. And right at its heart sits Together & Co Mumbai, where the real stories unfold.
Here’s A Detailed Review About The Restaurant
Amuse-Bouche
The evening opened with Heirloom Tomato Ceviche, and truth be told, it looked like a painting. Bright, juicy tomatoes formed the base, lightly topped with cheese and crisp sprout greens for texture. A side of raw mango salad added a zesty punch, cutting through the richness. The dish felt like summer captured on a plate: colourful, sharp, and unexpectedly refreshing.
Appetisers That Went Beyond Our Expectations
The first course to really make us sit up was the Black Magic Soup. Now, this one isn’t on the regular menu, but it deserves a spotlight. The bowl arrived with dry ingredients, colourful veggies, roasted peanuts, and even fried potato cubes, before a steaming hot broth was poured from a kettle. One quick squeeze of lime later, the purple soup turned jet black magic.
But the real joy came with the flavour. Bold garlic notes at first sip, earthy tones from cabbage and leeks, a hint of heat from green chilli. It was dramatic, playful, and, more importantly, delicious.
Then came the starters, each one with its own personality:
- Four Treasure Pick (off-menu) showcased smoky-sweet turkey bacon with chilli, while the garlic crisp added punch.
- Dragon Chicken (on the menu) was fiery, crunchy, and the sort of dish that vanishes from the plate because “just one more bite” keeps happening.
- Watermelon Chicken (yes, really) was marinated in watermelon juice for 24 hours before being fried. I know what you’re thinking, sweet chicken? Not even close. The result was balanced, savoury, and shockingly good. Easily one of the evening’s highlights.
Mains That Provided Comfort
For mains, the chef took us on another off-menu adventure with the Deep Forest Rice. A mound of sticky rice came topped with sautéed king oyster mushrooms and crumbs of crispy papad. Wholesome, hearty, and just the right mix of textures.
But then came the Mutton Rogan Josh, which I’d call the true hero of the night. This one’s on their regular menu, and thank goodness for that. Rich, tender, and comfort-packed, it paired beautifully with soft naan. One bite and I was transported straight into a world of nostalgia and it’s the kind of dish that reminds you why classics never go out of style.
Dessert That Hit The Sweet Spot
Every good meal deserves a sweet ending, and Together & Co Mumbai didn’t disappoint. The Blueberry Cheesecake (menu regular) looked almost too pretty to eat, garnished with edible flowers and crumble. But one bite made it clear, it was light, creamy, and indulgent without being cloying. A dessert that knows exactly where to draw the line.
Drinks That Dazzled Us
Let’s not forget the drinks. The mocktails included Camomile Sour, Kintsugi, and To&Co were playful, refreshing, and unique. Exclusive to our tasting menu, these showed off the creativity of the bar team. Even if they don’t all end up on the permanent list, they proved Together & Co Mumbai has a knack for liquid experiments too.
And here’s the part worth noting: while I tried several off-menu creations, the chef was more than willing to recreate them if guests requested. That flexibility says a lot about the philosophy here; it’s about making diners feel at home, not about sticking rigidly to a list.

CT Verdict
So, what’s the final word? Together & Co Mumbai is far more than just another hotel restaurant. It’s a culinary pit stop with personality. From the quirky magic of a soup that changes colour to the soul-warming depth of Rogan Josh, the food journey here felt layered and exciting.
If you’re a traveller with hours to kill before a flight, Together & Co Mumbai will keep you happily fed. If you’re a local in Andheri or beyond, it’s a refreshing dining option that breaks away from the usual airport-adjacent chaos.
To be fair, not every restaurant manages to balance creativity with comfort, but Together & Co Mumbai does it with ease. After all, how often do you step into a place near an airport and leave with flavours still lingering in your mind?
Worth the stop, whether you’re travelling or just hungry for something different!
