Curly Tales now has a new show, Sunday Brunch Play for Brunch, and it is unlike our previous shows. Here, guests are invited to the Curly Tales home, where they do not just eat, they have to earn their meal first. For this week, Punjabi superstars Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta stepped into our home. They played games, did household chores and revealed many interesting stories.
Aamir Khan Visited Gippy Grewal At His Punjab Home
Punjabi superstars Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta had too much fun playing games and doing household chores on this new episode of Sunday Brunch Play For Brunch. They not only dried clothes and folded laundry but also revealed the reality of living in tiny Mumbai apartments.
In between conversations, household chores, and more, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, mentioned that Punjab has wider roads and bigger homes compared to the apartments in Mumbai. During this conversation, Gippy Grewal shared with us that once Aamir Khan visited his Punjab home and said, “Kaash mera aisa ghar hota.” (I wish I had a home like this.)
This statement apparently left Gippy shocked as it was a huge compliment coming from a superstar like Aamir Khan. Even Sargun Mehta shared that her mother often calls her Mumbai home a “maachis ki dabbi” (a matchbox). The reason? Her Mumbai home is so small compared to her home in Chandigarh.

Authentic Gujarati Food For Sunday Brunch
But wait, this Sunday Brunch Play for Brunch episode was not just about household chores. It was also about a lot of Gujarati food. Yes, Curly Tales treated these superstars to a hearty spread of Sev Tameta, Vaal Ni Daal, Surati Dal, Aam Ras, Basundi, Kachori, Dal Dhokli, Khichu, and Khandvi. The most important part of this meal was that these delicious dishes were not ordered from a restaurant. They were prepared with so much love by a home chef and single mother, Bansari, owner of Maa Nu Ghar.
Our conversations then moved on to Gippy and Sargun’s upcoming movie, Carry On Jatta 4, and the twists and turns the audience will get to see in the film. The episode ended with Curly Tales thanking the superstars and welcoming them to our family.
