They Cooked the Best of Amritsar Just for Me!

This Sunday Brunch, Kamiya Jani travelled to Amritsar to spend a day with Chef Vikas Khanna and experience the city through his eyes. The day began at his childhood home, where I had the pleasure of meeting his mother, brother and sister-in-law, who welcomed me with so much warmth and a delicious home-cooked meal. It wasn't just a visit, it felt like being a part of their family. As Vikas showed me around his home, every corner held memories of his father, his sister and the journey that shaped him into the man he is today. From there, we visited the Gurudwara, served prasad, met an inspiring autistic child, explored his favourite spots across Amritsar and indulged in iconic local favourites like Bun Tikki, Aam Papad Chaat, A1 Kulfa and more....
