X user Mahesh (@Mahesh10816) took to social media to share the first video showing what the 1st AC coach of the Mumbai-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Sleeper train looks like. The coach features separate cabins for travellers, offering privacy and a more peaceful journey.
What we loved most was that, unlike regular trains that often have steep and complicated ladders to reach the upper berth, this train comes with dedicated stairs that make climbing up and down much easier. The sliding doors add a touch of modern comfort, allowing travellers to open and close them effortlessly. The soft-toned interiors further enhance the premium feel of the coach.

What To Know About The Sleeper Train Service On This Route
We’re excited about this new sleeper train service because it is expected to reduce the travel time between Mumbai and Bengaluru from over 20 hours to around 14–16 hours. The train is expected to run through Tumakuru, Davangere, Haveri, Hubballi-Dharwad, and Belagavi. The stops will be limited to complete the journey quickly.
This train will have 16 fully air-conditioned coaches and will easily accommodate 823 passengers. The train will also have comfortable sleeping berths and advanced suspension technology for a smoother travel experience.
