From Bengaluru To Jaipur: 5 Shooting Locations Of Toxic, Yash’s New Gangster Film

On his 40th birthday, KGF star Yash unveiled the teaser of his upcoming, star-studded action thriller Toxic. The first look, which introduces the actor’s character Raya, has already sparked excitement. So, for all our lovely travel lovers, we’ve rounded up the shooting locations of Yash’s Toxic that you simply can’t miss.

Fans Thrilled By The First Look Of The Film

On January 8, Yash unveiled the first look of his much-anticipated film Toxic. Slated for release on March 19, 2026, the film also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth. In the teaser, fans catch a glimpse of the KGF star making a grand entry, with a cigar in one hand and a gun in the other, setting the tone for the film’s larger-than-life appeal. With the line “Daddy’s home,” Yash has officially sent his fandom into a frenzy.

5 Shooting Locations Of Yash’s Toxic

1. Mumbai

A major portion of Yash’s Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, was filmed in Mumbai. According to several media reports, many of the film’s large-scale action sequences were shot at locations such as Madh Island, Versova Jetty, Afghan Church, and Film City. During a 45-day shooting schedule in the city, a significant chunk of the action scenes was completed. Some reports also suggest that Yash requested the shooting location be shifted to Mumbai to accommodate the needs of then-pregnant Kiara Advani.

2. Bengaluru

The last leg of the film was shot in Bengaluru’s Peenya-Jalahalli area (HMT land). A massive set was created for the grand cinematic scenes of the period gangster action thriller that is set between the 1980s and the 1990s.

3. Jaipur

While the primary filming of Yash’s Toxic took place in Mumbai and Bengaluru, a song sequence was reportedly shot in Jaipur, Rajasthan. We can’t wait to see which picturesque location in Jaipur made it to the film.

4. Thoothukudi

Yash and the team of Toxic shot an action sequence for the film in Tamil Nadu’s Thoothukudi. More details about this particular action scene are still not available, but the movie lover in us is definitely excited.

5. Goa

With Toxic, Yash and his team bring Goa’s 1980s underworld to life, so it’s only fitting that the state features in the film. One location you’ll definitely see in the movie is the iconic Palolem Beach.
