Parineeti Chopra Chose The Maldives For Some “Me Time”
Sharing glimpses from her holiday on Instagram, Parineeti Chopra described the trip as a perfect recipe for some time to herself and said she had the “time of my life”. From enjoying the water to indulging in good food and soaking up the island views, her vacation was all about slowing down and switching off.
The actor stayed at JOALI Maldives, a luxury island resort located on Muravandhoo Island in the northern Maldives. Set amid the Indian Ocean, the property is known for its art-immersive design, with spaces created in collaboration with international artists and local artisans.
The resort has 73 accommodations, including private beach and overwater villas with pools. With one- to four-bedroom villas, it caters to everyone from couples looking for a romantic escape to families and larger groups.
For Parineeti, the property seemed to tick all the boxes. She praised its villas, calling them among the “best villas in the Maldives”, while also complimenting the island’s thoughtful design and personalised service.

Embracing The Slow Life!
Rather than packing her itinerary with sightseeing, Parineeti embraced the slower side of island life. Her holiday included barefoot walks along the beach, time in the water, massages, beautiful sunsets and lazy afternoons.
Calling herself a “water baby”, she also made the most of the ocean surrounding the resort. And, of course, food was part of the indulgence. JOALI Maldives has several dining options serving different cuisines, while Parineeti jokingly added “one vanilla scoop” to her daily itinerary.
The resort also offers wellness experiences and water-based activities, making it easy to spend an entire day without having to leave the island.
