Taking to her Instagram, Shivanii shared a story where she stated she had booked an Uber ride from Mahalaxmi to Nerul. While the trip was originally priced at ₹460, the final cost was updated to ₹501 by the end of the ride, which she agreed to pay.

She further alleged that the confrontation started when the driver asked for an additional ₹40 in cash for toll charges. Since she believed the toll amount was already included in the fare, she refused to pay extra. According to Shivanii, the situation soon escalated. She claimed the driver tried to stop her from getting out of the cab and became aggressive when she stepped out. After she pushed him away in self-defence, she alleged that he slapped her, twisted her arm, and continued to threaten and intimidate her.

In a post, she described the incident and stated that what started out as a disagreement over a small amount of money turned into a serious safety issue. She quickly contacted her office colleagues, who arrived at the scene to help her. The creator also alleged that several witnesses stepped in to help. She claimed the driver showed no remorse and kept threatening her even after others stepped in.

She wrote, “What followed was not just an argument. He slapped me. He grabbed and twisted my hand, hurting me. And then said, “Phir se maar ke dikhaun kya?”
