This Valentine’s Day, Starscapes has planned a 75-minute immersive stargazing experience across select Starscapes Observatories in Kausani, Mukteshwar, Corbett, and Coorg, giving couples a rare opportunity to connect with the wonders of the cosmos.
Guided by professionals, couples will embark on a telescope-led journey featuring views of the Moon, visible planets, star clusters, and deep-sky objects as part of Valentine’s Diamond in the Sky. The experience also weaves in celestial love stories and insights into how ancient civilisations linked love, destiny, and relationships with the stars, along with specially curated Milky Way and constellation tours.
All You Need To Know About This Experience
For this couples-only Valentine’s Day stargazing experience, they will be transforming the observatories in Kausani, Mukteshwar, Corbett, and Coorg into a romantic cosmic retreat, complete with Valentine-themed decor, soft ambient lighting, and a cosy couples-only setup under the open sky–now that’s what we call romantic! Each couple will get complimentary chocolates and a memorable “Selfie with the Stars” photograph to make it even more memorable. For a couple, the experience will cost ₹3,000.
One of the biggest highlights of the experience is the observation of the “Diamond Star”, Sirius or Vega. It symbolises brilliance, commitment, and eternal love. The session also features a dual star system paired with the timeless Indian love story of Arundhati and Vashishtha, representing harmony, equality, and lifelong partnership.
Besides the observatories, the Valentine’s Day stargazing experience by Starscapes will also be available at select Taj properties, including Gangtok, Jaisalmer, Jim Corbett and Anand Kashi.
