Actor Ashish Vidyarthi On Less Traffic In Bengaluru
Taking to his social media, actor Ashish Vidyarthi jokingly spoke about the absence of traffic in Bengaluru. He shared the incident with the caption, “Where is it? Reporting the LOSS OF TRAFFIC in Bengaluru. The last two days reminded me of olden times when there wasn’t any traffic. Anyone know how to EXTEND this time capsule trip? Cheers and love from this lovely city!”
He recorded the video at the airport and mentioned that they had woken up early, expecting the drive from Gandhinagar to Bengaluru airport to take around 1 to 1.5 hours. However, to their surprise, there had been no traffic in Bengaluru for the past two days, and they reached the airport in just 25 minutes.
In the video, he also said, “The traffic has been stolen. There is no traffic on the streets of Bengaluru.” Amused by the unusual calm, the actor jokingly asked the authorities to look into it and remarked that it felt like going back to the old times when Bengaluru had no traffic.
Heavy Traffic Is Back In The City
Just a day after Ashish Vidyarthi talked about the unusual calm on Bengaluru’s roads during the festive season, the city returned to its usual chaos. Areas like Indiranagar, MG Road, Outer Ring Road, and Koramangala, which were surprisingly peaceful just days ago, are once again packed with vehicles and honking horns, reported Hindustan Times.
Commuters are being advised to plan their travel carefully as several major routes are seeing heavy congestion. Traffic is crawling on Old Madras Road towards the city, while Metro construction work near Karthik Nagar is slowing down the Mahadevapura–Marathahalli stretch. Tinfactory is also facing severe jams, causing longer travel times.
