French President’s Experience At Mumbai Hotel

French President Emmanuel Macron stayed at the iconic Taj Mahal Palace during his visit to India. He and Brigitte Macron paid tribute to the victims of the 2008 terror attacks by laying flowers at the memorial and observing a moment of silence at the hotel, one of the sites targeted on November 26, 2008.

He also received a grand welcome at the hotel. Along with Narendra Modi, he experienced a traditional ‘Maratha welcome’ featuring an aarti, choreographed dance performances, and royal musical instruments, beautifully highlighting India’s rich culture and traditions. While in Mumbai, Emmanuel Macron was seen stepping away from media attention and heading out for a morning jog along the iconic Marine Drive. The quiet run by the sea caught people’s attention.

We hope the Canadian PM enjoys his four-day stay in India!
