Airlines Issue Travel Advisory For Republic Day
IndiGo authorities have issued a travel advisory ahead of the 77th Republic Day celebrations. Enhanced security measures will be in place at airports across India. Passengers have been advised to cooperate with airport staff during frisking and other mandatory checks. Travellers are also requested to arrive earlier than usual, as security procedures may take additional time.
SpiceJet has also issued a travel advisory. The airline, through a post on its X handle, requested passengers to arrive well before departure to allow sufficient time for security screening and other airport procedures. Any changes to flight schedules will be communicated via SMS or email to registered contact details. Travellers are also advised to regularly check their flight status.

Delhi Airport has announced temporary airspace restrictions due to the upcoming Republic Day Parade and associated flypast rehearsals. Flight operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport may be affected from January 21 for six days. Passengers are advised to check flight status, arrive early, and stay updated via airline and airport notifications.
