Air India Brings A Festive Touch To Their Food

For the Eid celebration, Air India will serve the delicious and traditional dessert Sheer Khurma on all flights departing on March 20, 2026. This special offering will be available across every cabin class and throughout its entire network. It includes domestic flights, international departures from India, and even return flights where meals are catered.

On flights where proper meals are served, passengers will get Sheer Khurma as part of that meal. But on flights that only offer snacks or light refreshments, the regular menu will stay the same. Also, Air India has made sure this festive dessert is served in the same quality everywhere by working with different catering companies like TajSATS, Oberoi Flight Services, CAFS, and Ambassador’s Sky Chef.

Navratri Vrat Dishes At The Airport

The festive vibe isn’t just on flights; it continues at the airport lounges too. At the Maharaja Lounge in Delhi International Airport, travellers can enjoy a special Navratri thali with dishes like Sabudana Khichdi, Paneer Sabzi, Kheer, and more. The airline added this menu after customers asked for it, making the experience feel more personal.

At the Adani Lounge in Mumbai, Gudi Padwa was celebrated on March 19 with festive and traditional sweets like Shrikhand, Peda, and Gujiya. The celebrations don’t stop there, on March 21, the lounge will serve a special Eid menu for lunch and dinner, including dishes like biryani, kebabs, and desserts like Shahi Tukda and Phirni.
