There are very few underrated food places in India that get recognition from celebrities or billionaires. And this time, Anand Mahindra made a special post on his official X account appreciating the dosas of Chutney Maami. He shared with his followers that he is not someone who would recommend travelling to locations solely for culinary experiences. But since his grandson is visiting, he really would love to teleport to Chutney Maami in Kerala.
His grandson is a dosa fanatic and would like to go to this spot to grab a “Sunday bite” together. He ended the post by writing, “Perhaps Swiggy or Zomato could start an inter-state drone delivery service…(yes, yes, I know the Dosa will wilt.. but who knows?).” Yes, the drone delivery for dosas might not be possible, but Anand Mahindra’s post for this restaurant has definitely made us curious.

Chutney Maami Is Known For Delicious South Indian Food
Located in Kilimanoor, Kerala, Chutney Maami is a popular pure-vegetarian restaurant and garden. The place is loved among local foodies for its unique blend of South Indian vegetarian fare and signature chutneys. Not to forget, a pleasant dining experience surrounded by greenery.
If you ever visit Kerala, make sure you visit this place to try the extra-large signature Bahubali Masala Dosa, known for its crispy texture and delicious filling. They also serve Ghee Podi Thatte Idli and Mini Idlis, which are soft and heavily soaked in ghee and podi powder.
You can also opt to try their traditional breakfast and Sadhya, which consists of appam, vegetable stew, vada, chutneys, sambar and more, served on banana leaves. And, of course, their strong traditional South Indian filter coffee should not be missed at any cost.
