Anand Mahindra took to his X account and shared the video of what he calls ‘Monsoon Magic’. Sharing the video, he wrote, “In search of Monsoon Magic? The RainTrain… Ride into a picture book in Siliguri.” The video highlights the narrow-gauge train moving through dense forests covered in rain and fog. The blue train, surrounded by towering trees and fresh monsoon trees, creates a landscape that looks like a postcard. As the train slowly move through the landscape, the journey itself becomes the main attraction, allowing passengers full views of the region’s natural beauty.
The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of India’s most famous mountain railways that attracts people from across the world for its scenic route connecting New Jalpaiguri, Siliguri and Darjeeling.
