The temple is renowned for its spiritual significance and architectural magnificence. Nestled against the picturesque Swarnagiri hill, the temple is situated just 47.3 kilometres from Hyderabad, and here’s why you should visit it soon!

Taking to her Instagram story, Ananya Panday shared that she is currently shooting at Swarnagiri Sree Venkateswara Swami Devasthanam near Hyderabad. Though she didn’t appear in the picture herself, she treated fans to a glimpse of the temple’s breathtaking architecture, for which it is widely renowned. In another Insta story, she shared a video of a tiny turtle she stopped in the temple’s pond, which looked absolutely adorable!

While the details of her Hyderabad shoot remain under wraps, Ananya Panday’s devotional side is no secret to her fans. From the Golden Temple in Amritsar to the Kale Hanumanji Temple in Jaipur, she often visits temples in the cities she is shooting or visiting.

More About Swarnagiri Sree Venkateswara Swami Devasthanam

The Swarnagiri Sree Venkateswara Swami Devasthanam is nestled atop Manepally Hills in Bhuvanagiri, near Hyderabad. According to Telangana Today, the temple opened in 2024 and has since stunned devotees with its breathtaking architecture and grandeur. It beautifully blends the architectural styles of Pallava, Vijayanagara, Chola, and Chalukya dynasties.

The temple is also known as Yadadri Tirumala Devasthanam, and it is also touted as one of the largest Balaji temples in South India. As per media reports, Swarnagiri Sree Venkateswara Swami Devasthanam features four majestic Rajagopurams that open into spacious mandapams. It then culminates in a five-storied Vimana Gopuram above the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.

Once inside, you are bound to be spellbound by the 12-foot-tall statue of Lord Sri Venkateshwara, which is the largest in Telangana. There is also a 120-foot Hunumana Mandapa where a 40-foot monolith statue of Hanuman ji is situated. There is also a massive bronze bell, which weighs about one-and-a-half tons, in the temple, and it is the second largest in India, according to Telangana Today.
