Most construction work within the Ram Mandir is expected to be completed by September 30, 2026. The corporate builders working inside the temple will wrap up their work and leave the site by October 30, 2026. Here’s everything you need to know about this latest update from Ayodhya. 

Ayodhya Ram Mandir Construction To Be Completed By September 30

The Ram Mandir is a major Hindu temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The holy place is dedicated to Lord Ram and is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram. The place is also known for its grand and beautiful architecture and attracts millions of people every year. According to The Economic Times, the construction of the Ram Mandir is finally expected to be completed by September 30, 2026.

Major corporate builders like Larsen & Toubro and Tata representatives will wrap up their work and leave the site by October 30, 2026. The construction of the auditorium and museum, which is being carried out by the Rajkiya Nirman Nigam, will continue. It is expected to be complete by March 2027.

Museum Expected To Open For Visitors In 2027

According to The Economic Times, the scripts and storylines for all the galleries of the museum have been prepared. These storylines will be converted into video form by experts from IIT Madras. Visitors will be able to visit this museum from February or March 2027.

The boundary wall around the temple is also expected to be complete by December 2026. Full completion of the temple by September means that the temple will now have clearer pathways as the heavy machinery will be removed. Visitors will now be able to easily navigate the place without the construction zones around the temple. The temple officially opened in January 2024 with the historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
