Belarus Now Offers E-Visas To Indian Travellers

According to NDTV, a holiday to this nation could soon get a lot easier as Belarus has now added India to the list of countries whose citizens can apply for an e-visa online. The decision was recently taken by the Council of Ministers of Belarus on September 14, 2026, following an initiative by the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

E-Visa Will Make Travelling Easier For Indians

According to Business Today, the move aims to simplify entry procedures and strengthen ties between the two countries. Plus, the e-visa facility is also expected to make travel easier for business travellers and encourage more visits between India and Belarus. Under the new rules, Indian travellers can now apply for a Belarusian e-visa and complete the process online. Online applications reduce paperwork and make the process simple. 

There’s more. Belarus is also planning direct flights connecting its capital, Minsk, with Indian destinations like Mumbai and Goa. These routes could make travel between Belarus and India more convenient, especially for business travellers and tourists.
