Kempegowda International Airport took to its social media handle to share pictures of the recent upgrade at Terminal 1. The airport has now introduced a new security check zone to make the passenger experience smoother. The new setup includes additional security lanes so passengers no longer have to wait in long queues.
There are also special services for people who need assistance. The upgrade further supports faster domestic transfers and includes a separate lane for passengers who book security slots in advance through the Pulse app. With these changes, the airport aims to offer a more easy, efficient, and comfortable journey for all guests.
What Is ‘Bengaluru’s Soul’ At The Airport?
Bengaluru Airport has launched a new 16-ft sculpture titled ‘Bengaluru’s Soul’. You can find this sculpture at Terminal 2. This masterpiece is created by the Spanish artist Jaume Plensa. What makes it special is that it features interlaced alphabets and symbols from multiple languages.
The sculpture is made of painted stainless steel. It measures 500 x 319 x 375 cm and stands as a striking installation at the airport. The artwork represents cultural diversity and creativity, aiming to leave a strong first impression on passengers and make them feel awestruck as soon as they arrive.
