MakeMyTrip has collaborated with regional airline Fly91 to launch curated holiday packages to Lakshadweep, offering direct connectivity between Bengaluru and Agatti from November 12, 2026. The flights will operate every four days until mid-January 2027, coinciding with Lakshadweep’s peak travel season from November to January. Read on to know more.

Fly91 To Launch Direct Bengaluru-Lakshadweep Flights

With Bengaluru well connected to several popular and emerging cities across India, the new route is also expected to make Lakshadweep more accessible to travellers from beyond South India. The holiday packages bring several aspects of the trip together under one booking, including round-trip flights, accommodation, permits, meals, on-ground activities and the services of a tour manager. Travellers can also opt for additional experiences such as snorkelling, scuba diving, turtle watching, yoga and meditation sessions at an extra cost.

The four-day, three-night package starts at ₹84,898 per person and is available through MakeMyTrip and its franchisee network. Jasmeet Singh, Chief Business Officer, Holidays & Experiences, MakeMyTrip, stated that the partnership reflects the company’s focus on working with airlines to improve direct access to destinations that have strong traveller interest but limited connectivity. He stated that Lakshadweep has never lacked interest; what it lacked was ease of access. Once you solve for that, a destination competes for a traveller’s time in a completely different way.

Direct Flights To Boost Lakshadweep Tourism

Manoj Chacko, Managing Director and CEO, FLY91, said the airline has been working to strengthen connectivity to Lakshadweep, starting with its Goa-Agatti service and later adding direct flights between Kochi and Agatti. Manoj stated that Agatti remains one of the most beautiful destinations in India, and we are incredibly proud to partner with MakeMyTrip to help grow Lakshadweep as a tourism destination.

Known for its turquoise lagoons, coral reefs and secluded beaches, Lakshadweep offers a quieter alternative to conventional beach holidays. Visitors can enjoy experiences such as snorkelling, kayaking, glass-bottom boat rides and scuba diving, while the flight into Agatti offers spectacular aerial views of the islands and their surrounding waters.
