Alternative Roads For Daily Commuters
Following the closure of a stretch of the ORR service road, officials have also introduced alternative routes. Vehicles moving from Ibblur towards Silk Board Junction can use the 14th Main Road flyover. They can also continue along the main carriageway to reach the 5th Main Road Junction or take internal roads through HSR Layout to move towards Silk Board and Hosur Main Road. The authorities have urged drivers to follow these diversions and cooperate with traffic personnel.
In central Bengaluru, key stretches such as JC Road near Townhall Junction, NR Junction, PS Junction, and Police Corner Junction now have new signal synchronisation system. According to Anoop A. Shetty, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic West Division), these synchronised signals allow vehicles to move smoothly with fewer stops. This initiative by the officials has been taken to reduce delays and improve traffic flow. It will also help make daily commutes faster and more convenient for motorists.
