Danapur-Jogbani Vande Bharat Express Train In Bihar
The new Vande Bharat Express train in Bihar is running between Danapur (Patna) and Jogbani. This train is special as it connects Bihar capital region directly to Jogbani, a key town near the India-Nepal border. From Jogbani, passengers can easily travel Nepal by road, making this service a convenient option for people travelling for work, trade, or tourism, reported by News18.
The train, numbered 25305/25306, covers around 450 kilometres in approximately eight hours. During the journey, the train stops at key stations including Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Saharsa, Purnia, Araria Court, and Forbesganj. The service was inaugurated in September this year and has been running regularly since then. Notably, it is the first Vande Bharat Express to operate so close to the India-Nepal border, marking a milestone for Bihar’s railway network.

Ticket Fare And Schedule Of This New Train
According to News18, this new train has two classes; AC Chair Car (CC) and Executive Chair Car (EC). A ticket from Danapur to Jogbani costs around ₹1,310 for Chair Car and ₹2,375 for Executive Chair Car. The train has eight coaches, including one Executive Chair Car and seven AC Chair Cars. Tickets can be booked online or through railway counters, just like other Vande Bharat services.
The train runs six days a week, excluding Tuesdays. It departs from both ends in the morning and returns by evening, completing the journey in about eight hours at an average speed of 55 km/h. As soon as you board the train you’ll notice modern facilities such as reclining seats, charging points, automatic doors, and good lighting on board. It is fully air-conditioned with comfortable seating–making it ideal for long journeys.
