Good news for travellers! Blinkit has now landed inside the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai. Travellers can now easily order from a selection of 2,500+ products like books, phone chargers, gifts, and more from the Blinkit app, hassle-free. Here’s how this will work.
Blinkit Launches Service At Mumbai Airport Terminal 2
The announcement was recently made by Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa on his official X account. The service has now been launched specifically at Terminal 2 for domestic departures at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai. This has been made possible through Blinkit’s partnership with Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), India’s largest private airport operator. Albinder Dhindsa also wrote, “This is the first airport in the world to have a service of this kind and we’re excited to deliver all the last-minute needs of our customers.”
It often happens at airports when we realise we have left one of the essentials at home and get panicked. But now, travellers at Mumbai airport will be able to easily order essentials through this quick-commerce platform. The products will be delivered to their location within the terminal, including boarding gates, lounges, the food court, and select partner outlets.

Books To Snacks, Chargers & Baby Care
Deliveries will be carried out by trained on-ground personnel to ensure a seamless and secure experience without disrupting travel timelines. Passengers will be able to order travel accessories, electronics, snacks, books, baby care, and personal essentials. Permissible liquids such as packaged water and beverages will be available in the in-terminal inventory, in line with airport security protocols.
This is amazing, right? Who would have thought that one could use Blinkit inside an airport, and that too in Mumbai! This service definitely brings a new level of accessibility and affordability to airport retail. It also makes it easier for travellers to order essentials without the constraints of time and location.
Talking about this, an AAHL spokesperson said, “Adani Airports is reimagining how digital services can enhance the airport experience. Bringing app-based convenience into the terminal allows passengers to make better use of their time and raises the overall service standard. This is a step towards building more responsive and passenger-centric airports.”
