The hotel’s central lobby features a lotus-inspired fountain, symbolising purity, resilience and renewal, along with its signature floral peacock installation, celebrating India’s national bird and artistic heritage. The porch has also been decorated with BRICS flags and colours, while specially commissioned brass lotus sculptures light up the hotel’s periphery after dusk.
For the summit, the hotel has planned a range of culinary, cultural and hospitality experiences for visiting delegations. These include personalised welcomes, regional food showcases, live musical performances and installations inspired by Indian traditions.
One of the key offerings is Tradition to Table, a collection of recipes curated by Taj chefs and inspired by dishes associated with their mothers and early culinary influences. The concept celebrates the diversity of Indian home cooking and the personal stories connected to traditional recipes.

At Taj Mahal, New Delhi, the idea extends to a selection of savoury bites representing six regions of India. The spread includes spiced walnuts from Kashmir, Purani Dilli Maida Kaju, Maharashtra’s Bhakarwadi, Rajasthan’s Mini Kachori, Bengal’s Kucho Nimki and Tamil Nadu’s Murukku.
Taj Mahal Delhi To Feature Immersive Food Stalls
The culinary experience also features interactive food stalls serving a mix of Indian favourites and traditional preparations. Dishes include Keema Pav, Masala Scrambled Eggs, Paratha and Masala Uttapam, alongside Nalli Nihari with Khamiri Roti, Delhi 6 Chicken Korma, Gucchi Chole Pulao and Lamb Chops with Black Pepper and Chili. International options include Steamed Chilean Seabass with Turmeric and Lime in Banana Leaf and Wok-Tossed Prawns with Tamarind, Chili and Palm Sugar, while breakfast and comfort-food choices include Bacon Garlic Fried Rice, Egg and Maple Ham Avocado Toast and Coffee Overnight Oats.
The hotel will also host live performances by flutists, santoor players, tabla and sitar musicians and violinists, accompanied by traditional sounds such as the nagada and conch.

As a personalised gesture, guests will receive a customised rice grain engraved with their name, symbolising nourishment, prosperity and connections across cultures.
