Cast of The Odyssey were also joined by the producer Emma Thomas. The team was in Mumbai for the film’s premiere, media interactions and public appearances in advance of its worldwide release. In the pictures and videos shared by Universal Pictures India, cast members Tom Holland, Christopher Nolan and Matt Damon was spotted arriving at Mumbai’s iconic 102-year-old Olympia Coffee House, where they settled down for a quintessential Mumbai snack. The trio were offered steaming glasses of milk tea alongside freshly prepared bun maska, one of the city’s most-loved breakfast combinations.

Additionally, before taking their first sip, the three even raised their tea glasses together, sharing a light-hearted moment that quickly caught the attention of fans online. Sharing the photos, the page wrote, “Quick tea stop before The Odyssey Mumbai Premiere. A big night awaits, but chai comes first!” The post perfectly summed up the team’s brief yet memorable introduction to Mumbai’s everyday food culture.
Mumbai’s 102-Year Old Olympia Coffee House
Established in 1918, Olympia Coffee House in Colaba is one of Mumbai’s oldest remaining cafés and has been serving locals for over 102 years. Located near to the Gateway of India and the Taj Mahal Palace, the low-key eatery has developed a loyal following for its affordable comfort food and old-world elegance. Best known for its bun maska, Irani-style chai, kheema pav, omelettes and caramel custard, Olympia has long been a popular choice among office-goers, tourists, taxi drivers and late-night diners.
Following their café visit, Nolan, Thomas, Damon and Holland went to a photocall at the Taj Mahal Palace located near the Gateway of India before engaging with the media at a press conference.
