Security has been strengthened at major airports, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Authorities have deployed extra security personnel, increased surveillance, and asked passengers to cooperate, follow instructions, and carry a valid photo ID, reported Moneycontrol. To ensure that these tight security measures don’t hinder travellers’ travel plans, airports have issued travel advisories. Delhi Airport and Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru have asked passengers to arrive at least three hours before domestic flights and four hours before international departures.
Authorities warned that security checks may take longer than usual. Passengers are advised to follow instructions from security staff. Airlines and airport teams are working closely with security agencies to ensure safe and smooth travel. In Delhi, CISF has put key sites like IGI Airport, Delhi Metro stations, the Red Fort, and government offices on high alert. Bengaluru police are maintaining strict surveillance at bus and railway stations, malls, and other public places.
So, if you’re planning to travel, don’t forget to follow the travel advisories.
