Air India is making sure that its passengers can enjoy a smooth journey. The airline has now introduced a new service that allows Air India passengers to complete their check-in formalities at New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium Metro stations. This service has been introduced so that passengers don’t have to wait until they reach the airport to complete the process.
At these Metro stations, Air India passengers can also hand over their luggage, which is then securely transferred directly to the airport. This service can be especially beneficial for passengers travelling with lots of heavy luggage.

When Can Travellers Hand Over Their Luggage?
The check-in service at Delhi Metro is available daily from 7 AM to 9 PM. During these hours, passengers can arrive to complete their check-in and baggage transfer. This early check-in facility is available for both domestic and international flyers.
By completing their check-in early, passengers can get extra time to enjoy the city and reach the airport easily through the Metro. The baggage drop service also helps passengers save time and travel light. It helps them avoid long airport queues. Speaking of me, I don’t like to drag my baggage everywhere I go before boarding a flight, so this service is something I’m definitely looking forward to.
