About This Gurudwara In Delhi

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is one of the most famous Sikh shrines in Delhi. The name ‘Bangla Sahib’ comes from a bungalow that belonged to Raja Jai Singh in the 17th century. The eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan, stayed here during his visit to Delhi, giving the place great spiritual significance.

The Gurudwara is also known for its peaceful sarovar, which attracts thousands of devotees every day. According to Sikh beliefs, Guru Har Krishan helped people suffering during an epidemic, and the site became a symbol of service, compassion, and healing.
