Ganpati On An Auto Rickshaw’s Backseat

An Instagram user, Harshad Sunil Salgaonkar (@harshadddsalgaonkar31), took to his handle to share a video of an auto rickshaw he spotted at a traffic signal in Mumbai. It was no ordinary auto, as the driver had placed a beautifully decorated Ganpati idol on the backseat. With white lights and all the traditional pooja items, along with various sweets and fruits, he had set up a pandal of his own in the auto! 

To express his devotion toward Ganpati, the auto driver even brought a microphone and was singing devotional songs on the mic. In the video, he was singing, “Deva Oh Deva, Ganpati Deva.” People at the traffic signal could be seen admiring his creativity as well. The user posted this video with the caption, “I’m blessed on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. गणपती बाप्पा मोरया.”
