Heading To Tirupati Temple? Indian Railways Extends Pandharpur-Tirupati Special Trains Till March

The devotion surrounding Tirupati needs no introduction, with devotees from all walks of life visiting the Tirumala temple to seek divine blessings. Similarly, Pandharpur, nestled on the banks of the Chandrabhaga River in Maharashtra, is a major pilgrimage centre, drawing worshippers to the revered Shri Vitthal-Rukmini Temple. To cater to the growing demand from devotees, Central Railway connected the two towns with a weekly special train, a service that has now been extended till March. Here’s everything you need to know.

Pandharpur To Tirupati Special Trains Extended

According to Travel and Tour World, in view of the surge in travellers between Pandharpur and Tirupati, Indian Railways is offering devotees more opportunities to visit these pilgrimage centres. To prevent overcrowding and ease ticket availability, railway authorities have decided to extend the special trains on this route till March.

Keeping the peak travel season in mind, the Pandharpur–Tirupati–Pandharpur Weekly Special train (Train No. 07032), which currently operates every Sunday, will now run for an extended period from February 8, 2026, to March 1, 2026. Furthermore, the Tirupati to Pandharpur Special (Train No. 07012), which operates every Saturday, will now run from February 7, 2026, to February 28, 2026.

More About These Trains

Both services will run as per their existing routes, schedules, and train composition. The trains will also continue to halt at the same stations, allowing passengers to plan their journeys without any changes or inconvenience. The Tirupati-Pandharpur Weekly Special, according to Punekar News will stop at Renigunta, Razampeta, Ontimitta, Cuddapah, Yerraguntla, Tadipatri, Gooty, Dhone, Kurnool City, Gadwal, Wanparti Road, Mahbubnagar, Jadcherla, Shadnagar, Umdanagar, Kacheguda, Secunderabad, Begumpet, Lingampalli, Shankarapalli, Vikarabad, Zahirabad, Bidar, Bhalki, Udgir, Latur Road, Latur, Dhrashiv, Barshi Town, Kurduvadi and Modlimb. On the return journey, the train will stop at all these stations.
