Three Indian Bars Make It To Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 List
Hope & Sesame from Guangzhou, China, was named the No.1 bar on the recently announced Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 list. This speakeasy bar is hidden behind a traditional Cantonese café and is known for its cutting-edge cocktail techniques, in-house distillations and an atmosphere like no other.
But yes, India’s bars are also shining on the list. Three Indian bars have now received this well-deserved recognition. Boilermaker from Goa ranked eighth on the list. According to The World’s 50 Best, the bar captures Goa’s carefree spirit with infectious energy. Boilermaker is known for its Indian IPAs, mini cocktails and comfort food.

Two Bengaluru Bars Also On The List
Two Bengaluru bars have also made it to Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 list. Soka secured the 18th spot. It is known for its communal table and moody lighting, making it perfect for evenings. The bar is celebrated for its inventive craft drinks, ingredient-forward signature cocktails, nano-plates and snacks.
Bar Spirit Forward ranked 30th on the list for its dark academia aesthetic, featuring dark wood interiors and gilded shelves. Its menu focuses on craft cocktails and classics. Visitors should definitely try some of its popular offerings, including The Old Cuban, made with rum, mint, citrus and prosecco, and the French 75.
