Surprisingly, variants from two Indian brands, GirOrganic and Amul, have now made it to the list along with butter brands from countries like Denmark, England, Belgium and more! Two Indian Brands Make It To TasteAtlas’ Best Butters Lis

TasteAtlas is known for ranking food items and dishes. Recently, it included Kerala’s Karimeen Pollichathu in the list of top 100 most iconic seafood delicacies. Now, the platform has released a list of the best and most iconic butters from around the world.

Surprisingly, two Indian products, GirOrganic’s A2 Gir Cow Ghee and Amul’s Pure Ghee, have made it to the 6th rank on the list. The brands on the list were selected on the basis of several factors, which included exceptional quality, craftsmanship and premium credentials. Not just that, TasteAtlas also considered the brands’ deep history, global recognition and cultural significance.

GirOrganic from India is considered an authentic brand and is particularly known for its traditional A2 Gir Cow Ghee. On the other hand, Amul’s Pure Ghee is also considered a high-quality dairy product from India. It is especially known for its aroma and granular texture, which closely mimics homemade ghee.
