In recent times, Indian Railways has been introducing new trains to enhance connectivity across cities and offer more travel options to passengers. Now, it has launched the Amrit Bharat Express between Delhi and Gorakhpur. Read on to know the routes and other details.

Amrit Bharat Express Between Delhi And Gorakhpur

Ministry of Railways has introduced the Amrit Bharat Express between Delhi and Gorakhpur. This service has been launched to offer more budget-friendly travel options. Many passengers regularly travel between these two places for work, education, and family visits. This new service will be a relief for them.

As per NDTV, the Delhi–Gorakhpur–Delhi Amrit Bharat Express will operate under train numbers 14046 and 14045. It will pass through 11 key stations including Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Burhwal, Gonda, Balrampur, Barhni, Siddharth Nagar, and Anand Nagar before reaching Gorakhpur.

What Is The Schedule Of The New Train?

If you’re planning to travel in this train, then here’s the schedule for you. NDTV reported that this train will run once a week. It will have a fixed operation days. Both directions will operate on Tuesdays. Train number 14046 will start its journey from Delhi at 12:40 AM and will reach Gorakhpur at 3:50 PM the same day. As for return journey, train number 14045 will leave Gorakhpur Junction at 9:40 PM and will arrive in Delhi at 12:50 PM the next day. 

Indian Railways already runs one Amrit Bharat Express that goes through Gorakhpur on the Anand Vihar Terminal–Darbhanga route. Now, with this new train, Gorakhpur will also get a direct Amrit Bharat connection with Delhi. 

So, now travel comfortably between Delhi and Gorakhpur!
